Aleksei Archer and Alex Guarnaschelli

Aleksei Archer is a dramatic and versatile American model and actress with her birthplace in New York. Television personalities mark their birthday on August 14th. Her birthplace was St. Louis and moved rapidly into New York City when she was only a few days old. In the year 1991, Barnard College awarded her a Bachelor's degree in the field of art history. The position she held was apprentice for An American Place, a restaurant in the City of New York for one year. Guarnaschelli started her cooking education by watching her mother edit cookbooks and test recipes. After a stint with Larry Forgione in New York in France, New York and Los Angeles she also worked at Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot. She ultimately became executive chef for Butter. Guarnaschelli was a competitor against Cat Cora on Food Network's Iron Chef America 2007 Farmers Market Battle. She has since appeared as Judge on the show and in 2011 competed in The Next Iron Chef season four in which she came in as the third runner-up. Also, she participated in Food Network's Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast episode, but lost the event. In the aftermath of the conclusion of The next Iron Chef's season four,, she was made sous-chef for Iron chef Geoffrey Zakarian. She hosted The Food Network program The Cooking Loft together in conjunction with Alex Guarnaschelli. In this program, she taught a bunch of small students how to reinvent classic recipes.
